MPH Customer Centred Training works with Employers to continuously assess and identify company and staff training needs.

We do this through regular personal contact with each Employer and use our Training Needs Analysis programme to highlight any skills gaps within the organisation.

Assessment Methodology

Training centres must appoint qualified assessors to carry out internal continuous assessment. Assessors will be responsible and accountable for:

  • Managing the assessment system, from assessment planning to making and recording assessment decisions as required by the awarding body
  • Assessing evidence of candidate competence against the national occupational standards in the qualification
  • Ensuring that the candidates evidence is valid, authentic and sufficient
  • Maintaining accurate and verifiable candidate assessment and achievement records as required by the awarding body.

Assessors

Assessors must be competent to perform their role and hold the relevant qualifications D32, D33 or A1, A2.

They must also have the occupational expertise specified in the relevant assessment strategy and also know the awarding body requirements for recording assessment decisions and maintaining assessment records.

Assessors must be continuously assessed themselves to ensure their knowledge and expertise is current and relevant.

Assessment methods

There are a number of ways in which continuous assessment takes place:

  • Observation
  • Questioning and interview
  • Examination of work products
  • Professional discussion
  • Witness testimony
  • Personal testimony
