The MPH Apprenticeship and Train to Gain qualifications are both accredited through a recognised official Awarding Body: Educational Development International (EDI).

All vocational qualifications (NVQs), key skills and technical certificates undertaken by the employee/learner must be registered and certificated by an awarding body.

MPH Customer Centred Training Awarding Body

EDI is an accredited awarding body and a leading international education company. Its services include accredited vocational and professional qualifications to training providers.

EDI works in collaboration with industry, governments, universities and professional bodies, around the world to ensure its qualifications and assessments are accredited, recognised and relevant.

They also offer a variety of non-funded qualifications as well as a comprehensive range of online performance measuring and assessment tests mapped to the National Curriculum, delivering more than half-a-million pupil tests every year under the EDI "GOAL" brand.

What is an Awarding Body - what do they do?

  • Jointly responsible for the assessment methods of NVQ,s along with sector bodies
  • Design assessment measures and quality assurance systems
  • Approve assessment centres to offer NVQs
  • Design the structure of the qualifications and accredit the certificates
  • Monitor rigorously the assessment process
  • Undertake external assessments to ensure candidates are assessed fairly and consistently across all centres
  • They are the top level training certification organisations- the ones whose names and logos are on the certificates

Organisations, like MPH Customer Centred Training, are effectively distributors of qualifications for the awarding body.
